Everybody wants to call themselves "DESIGN GEEKS" these days; it can be hard to separate the real craftsmen from the wannabes. Rest assured, I take design seriously. Every morning, I spend a little bit of time on design-centric websites looking for inspiration and innovation. I'm always interested in refining my aesthetic, which is about clean lines and sharp colors. I enjoy the challenge of finding and creating images that tell a story. I'm experienced in branding, marketing strategy, and managing campaigns across web and print platforms for a variety of industries. I understand the marketing process from conceptualization, budgeting, execution and tracking ROI.

ATLANTA ZOO

Career fertiliser program for budding artists grows

One of the most fun and exciting pieces I've designed in a long time. As part of a contest, contestants were asked to choose an Atlanta brand and redesign it. There were so many choices, but passing a billboard for Zoo Atlanta a few days before the deadline gave me the brand I was searching for. This is my final execution. I've been given an opportunity to pitch this redesign to the Zoo and the board. Excited, would be an understatement.

Prudential Georgia Realty hired me to redesign their Intranet and because of the outstanding job I did on it, I was enlisted to design this ASKPGR site as well as several other sites for them, including their Recruiting site.

Whether a play in the U.S. or abroad, being given the opportunity to create the visual voice for another art form, is always challenging and exciting. This play, Scream In Harmony, was created by Creating Echoes and will soon hit the stage in Theaters all over London and eventually other parts of Europe and Asia.

Crafty last minute gifts

Edge Marketing Procurement Inc., hired me as a graphic design assistant. They weren't aware of my web development ability until they needed to redesign their website and to make it one of the best in the industry. After watching a painful process of dealing with developers and web design firms, I was asked to step up to the plate after I had redesigned the mockups for one web design firm. I was excited about the challenge and more importantly the opportunity. I had three weeks a blank canvas and a desire to make Edge's new site my calling card in the industry. This wasn't an easy task. Edge has been in business for 23 years and have a reputation quality and innovation. I had to take in consideration that their member base, both current and potential, are not always going to be the most web savvy. I also had to create a site that would leave room for growth. I will soon be tasked with creating a similar look and feel for their web portal and intranet, projects I am looking forward to. In a matter of months, I went from graphic design assistant to Senior Designer, a role in which I cherish.

STIR IT UP ATLANTA

"Out of Many, One People" These words are the Mantra and National Tagline for Jamaica. This restaurant, Stir It Up, wanted to bring MORE than just "another" Jamaican restaurant to the city of Atlanta, they wanted to bring the experience and history of Jamaica to Little Five Points. I was commissioned to create the Identity/Logo, as well as business cards, fliers, banners and even their menu. Oh, and the food... it's AMAZING!!

ASCEND CLIENT SOLUTIONS

Rebranding a company can be an arduous task, yet it can breathe new life and evoke a newenergy into a company who's image and/or sales are suffering. I was tasked with rebranding Ascend Client Solutions, formerly known as Salesdrivers and I was more than up to the task. From the name change to a new direction and identity I was responsible for creating it all. The name Ascend more closely related to the work they wanted to achieve, the identity/logo depicts an abstract stairway "ascending" without being a literal interpretation. I was then tasked to create a branding guide and several other pieces of collateral to announce to the world that Ascend is here. .
